- Partial Refunds – Sometimes a refund isn’t as simple as just getting an item back and returning the full amount paid. With partial refunds at the POS, you’ve got precise control over exactly how much money you’ll be handing over.
- Refund Reasons and Reporting – We’ve introduced a flexible way to record the reason why a refund was issued, and made it available to the reporting module. You’ll be able to ID trends before they become a problem, and make smarter business decisions for the future.
- Predefined Reasons and Amounts for Discounts and Surcharges – Adding a discount to an item should be an easy process. Adding a surcharge should be even easier (who wants to wait around to be charged more?). We’ve sped up the whole process to keep things moving.
- Enhanced Reporting for Discounts and Surcharges – Get keener insight into what discounts are worth your while to give—and which ones cost you money. Tracking surcharges can help you identify where new revenue streams could open up.
- Tables 2.0 – Take control of your dining area with detailed table layouts, mark which tables are occupied, configure multiple floor plans and track the number of guests (or covers) you’re serving.
- Register-level Configuration of Production Printers – Not every point in your point of sale system will need to behave the same way when ringing up items. We’ve made setting up production printing easier and more nimble by adding setup and configuration abilities on a register by register basis.

- Webhooks API and Webhooks for Orders API – If you like Kounta, and you like the way it integrates with other cloud apps, then you’re going to like all of it even more now. All the nuts-and-bolts, under-the-covers stuff that neither of us understands very well has been retooled to be more responsive while using less of your resources to do so. In layman’s terms, Kounta’s API will be faster and more efficient than ever before meaning even cooler integrations possibilities.
